 2009 Youth Garden Grants™ Program
Applicants must plan to garden with at least 15 children between the ages of three and 18 years.

The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation offers grants for programs and projects designed to support and improve music education. MFI funding focuses on providing for the basic needs of musical instruction, as well as on projects that foster creative expression. Grants range in size from $50.00 to $5,000.00

The Captain Planet Foundation funds hands-on environmental projects to encourage youth around the world to work individually and collectively to solve environmental problems in their neighborhoods and communities. $250 - $2500

Toyota Tapestry Mini-Grants

50 grants of up to $10,000 each and a minimum of 20 "mini-grants" of $2,500 each are available to K-12 teachers of science.  $10,000 grant winners will receive an all-expense paid trip to the NSTA convention in Anaheim, CA in April of 2006.
Deadline:  January 28, 2009

Stonyfield Farms
Projects which meet the following criteria will receive the highest priority for funding: 1)Protect and restore the planet , 2) Generate measurable results, i.e. natural resources saved, people educated. $1,000 minimum.

Seeds for Education
Small monetary grants to schools, nature centers, or other non-profit educational organizations for the purpose of establishing outdoor learning centers. Up to $500,

Funds up to $1,000 for K-6 math and science projects.

Toyota Tapestry Grant
Offers large grants of up to $10,000 and small grants of up to $2,500 to support innovative science projects that can be implemented in a one year period.
